GOOGLE BUSINESS PHOTOS NOW AVAILABLE IN DFW AREA
Google Business Photos is essentially Google “Street View” for the inside of your business.
DFW Metroplex — February 12, 2012 — Through the use of Google “Street View” technology, local area businesses can now have panoramic, 360 degree “Virtual Tours” created for the interior of their business that are published to their Google Places Page. Potential customers can walk around, explore and interact with businesses like never before.
Officially launched on Feb. 2, 2012, Google has trained and certified local photographers in 15 different cities across the US, including the DFW area, and only a Google Trusted Photographer can create a virtual tour that is published to the businesses Google Places Page.
The Virtual Tour allows business owners to showcase all the details that their customers love. The service is perfect for restaurants, retail shops, gyms, salons, and many other types of business. Images will not only appear on Google searches, Google Maps and Google Places, but they can also be embedded into the company’s website, social media pages, and more.
Google Trusted Photographers are local photographers trained and certified by, as well as sub-contracted to Google to market and sell the service. Business owners pay the Trusted Photographer directly, and there are no other charges or fees from Google for the service. Shoots generally take about an hour and can be conducted during normal business hours. Along with the virtual tour, a series of feature images are also taken highlighting things such as décor, menus, merchandise, business hours and forms of accepted payment. All of which are published alongside the tour.
