Big Taste of Fort Worth 2012

The 33rd Annual Barrett Havran Memorial Big Taste of Fort Worth benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters promises a palate pleasing journey for over 850 guests. Past winners and participants include Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Wildcatter Steakhouse, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Daddy Jack's Lobster & Chowder House, Eddie V's Prime Seafood and MICHAELS Restaurant & Ancho Chile Bar. This event is a favorite of foodies and everyday diners who treasure the experience of a culinary tour of Tarrant County’s finest restaurants all under the roof of the beautiful Omni Fort Worth Hotel all while benefiting children in North Texas. The impressive roster of participating restaurants is paired perfectly with the wildly popular VIP Wine Tasting presented by Englander dZignPak that invites guests to sample a premium vino selection. In the Main Tasting, restaurants offer a variety of entrée samplings ranging from prime beef tenderloin, seared Ahi tuna, hand-made tortellini, fire-grilled fajitas and much more. In addition, dessert offerings are just as incredible with delicacies like tiramisu, gourmet pastries, bananas foster and more. All proceeds from the event benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star.
