With the changes in the Texas Real Estate code you now have to have extensive training and experience to become a broker.

The Texas Real Estate code does allow for a person to have an LLC that can be sponsored by a broker. That person is not required to have a license to operate the company, but would need licensed agents to sell, list or manage properties.
