Whether just starting out or been playing for years, within my lessons you'll learn the basics plus so much more that you won't learn elsewhere... Including my success-proven methods to IMPROVISATION, a.k.a. "Guitar of Melodic Flow", which is an easy-to-grasp, fun process that'll have you using your own brain, developing your own style, and playing scales and chords right-alongside any songs you choose in whatever musical style you prefer in such an incredibly short amount of time that you'll even amaze yourself... NO KIDDING!!!

With 30+ year guitar/music industry experience and a background that consists of writing/performing/playing/teaching (often while combining the various styles of rock/funk/blues/hardrock/jazz/metal - tossed with just the right amount of strong, heart-felt melodies; alongside the always-fluid, smooth rhythms; and complete with unique creativity and pure imagination), I assure my lessons will fall nothing short of educationally-fulfilling and exciting... In addition to that, as a fully & entirely devoted teacher, I'm always striving to maintain a certain versatility and dynamic unlike any other, which, frankly, isn't so difficult due to one simple fact: I TRULY LOVE TO TEACH GUITAR!!!

First focusing on the basics: Reading tablature, chords/scales, chord progressions, time/tempo management, and keynote functionality (i.e., playing in key), most of which will be learned directly from your own personally selected music of your favorite artists, songs, and/or playing style(s), of course, translated in the most logical, easy-to-understand ways possible, and complete with your own personal, weekly lesson video when necessary! Thus, while all of the basics are being taken in, we will slowly/gradually begin to add-in a few of the truly fun aspects of music and playing guitar that are rarely taught within most guitar lessons. Some of which include IMPROVISATION; PERSONAL TECHNIQUE DEVELOPMENT & GUITAR-PLAYING DYNAMICS; STRATEGIES TO SOLOING - including RELATIVE KEYS/SCALES, SCALE CHOICE, PATTERN SEQUENCING, etc.; & SONG CONSTRUCTION / DECONSTRUCTION in which we'll study various music styles/genres and some of the different techniques & processes regarding some of the most common approaches to songwriting...
And, finally, if you so desire, you'll even write and record your own song(s) (including bass and drum tracks), with which you may use for whatever purpose you wish!

All of these steps, of course, are taught on an individual basis at the student's own comfortable learning pace, and each learning level will only be covered if/when the student chooses.
