Wanted: Alexander Julian Men's Clothing & Accessories

Collector seeking men's apparel and accessories designed by Alexander Julian, whose "Alexander Julian Shop", on Oaklawn (next to Parigi) supplied Dallas's most interesting gentlemen with some of the most luxurious and eccentric men's clothing ever conceived.

To the right, you'll find a photo of the various Julian apparel labels that are of interest. Below that, you'll find three more photos: in the first, Alex is both wearing and surrounded by pieces from his Fall 1984 Collection; the second photo depicts a sampling of Julian menswear from that same collection that typifies what Alex has always stood for: off-beat colorations and unusual fabric textures, combined with "modern traditional" styling. The last photo depicts Victor Shargai, the famed Georgetown-based Interior Designer and long-time Alexander Julian collector, surrounded by his (now) vintage Julian treasures.
